Aux Talent is partnering with a rapidly growing omni-channel consumer brand in the DFW area to hire a Corporate Controller who will lead the accounting function and build scalable financial infrastructure as the company expands. This role will be the operational and strategic backbone of the finance organization, owning accurate financial reporting, tightening controls, managing multi-entity accounting, and partnering closely with leadership on performance, cash flow, and operational decisions.
The right person is a hands-on, detail-oriented accounting leader who can operate in a fast-paced environment and is excited to help build a best-in-class finance function for a brand in major growth mode.
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process across multiple entities
Manage inventory and COGS accounting, including landed cost, freight, and reconciliations
Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, and variance analysis
Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and documentation
Partner with Operations on purchasing, inbound tracking, and inventory accuracy
Manage AP/AR oversight, cash flow visibility, and working capital processes
Ensure tax compliance (sales tax, filings, audit readiness) with external partners
Own system integrity across ERP/accounting platforms and support process improvements
Provide leadership with timely insights around margins, cash, and operational KPIs
7–12 years of progressive accounting experience (consumer, retail, or CPG a strong plus)
Deep understanding of GAAP, inventory/COGS, and multi-entity environments
Experience leading or owning the full close process
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
CPA strongly preferred
Resourceful operator with excellent communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
