A leader in the sustainable packaging industry within the beauty and personal care industry is looking for an experienced Business Development Representative. They create revolutionary metal packaging containers with a strategic pipeline of components that facilitate the movement to a circular economy. They are on a mission to raise the standards in the packaging industry to minimize single-use plastics and waste. This is a fast-paced, high-growth company with zero time to waste. You must be a self-starter who can effectively tackle multiple projects, take initiative, and be a key player in growing our company.
Typical duties (but are not limited to): Build prospect lists through online research based on a defined customer profile, generate and qualify sales leads through cold calling and cold emailing, conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs, partner with our business development team to help fill their pipeline, describe services, learn more about potential customer’s needs, and gather other info for webinar demos, qualify and respond to incoming inquiries, make a high volume of daily outbound touches, keep CRM up-to-date with client information and correspondence records, deliver product feedback to management, marketing, and R&D and continuously improve your product knowledge to support technical questions from customers
Requirements: Ambitious mindset and eagerness to learn and advance in the organization, BA/BS degree or similar college level education, at least 2 years experience as a successful Sales / Business Development Representative, with a proven track record of exceeding goals, ability to fearlessly cold call, prospect, and build account leads, strong verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Google Suite (a plus) and CRM experience (Hubspot in particular is a plus)
Schedule: REMOTE, regular business hours
Pay: $60,000-80,000/year + $20K+ variable comp + equity + comprehensive benefits
Location: REMOTE, but PST or MST time zones preferred
